What is the material used for embroidery patches?
Normally the embroidery patches are made of fabric and threads. Fabric is the bottom on which the needle brings the threads. Fabric can be chosen according to clients’ needs. It can be cotton, twill, felt bottom, satin, and so on. The thread is mostly made of polyester. But if customers want the logo to have a shinning effect, then can choose the metallic thread. Now with the improvement of the technics, we also have reflective thread and glow-in-the-dark thread.
Do embroidery patches last?
Yes, Hekang embroidery patches can pass the wash test. They can be durable in normal water washing.
Which back should I choose for my custom chenille patches? Iron on or Sew on?
It will depend on how you want to attach the chenille patches. If it’s hard for you to use sewing machines, my suggestion is to choose the iron on back. Just use the iron to heat and melt the iron on glue on the back of the chenille patches, pressing the patch many times. But if you know how to use stitching machine, my suggestion is to choose the sew on back for your custom chenille patches, then you can get a more fluffy effect for your patch. This is because when we attach the iron-on back on patch and when you attach the chenille patches on fabric, the towel hair will be pressed and be less fluffy. If you choose a sew-on back, this problem can be solved.
